With the two doughnut pans I received for Christmas for a relative, I made chocolate donuts using this recipe here. The ingredients are flour, cocoa, baking soda, salt, melted butter, eggs, white sugar, brown sugar, buttermilk, or regular milk mixed with vinegar. The recipe she gives only makes about 6 doughnuts, so I had to double my recipe.
First, preheat your oven to 350. Grease your doughnut pans. In a small bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda, cocoa, and salt.
In a larger bowl, mix together the wet ingredients.
Then, mix the wet and dry together.
Then fill your pans with the batter. I tried using the piping bag technique, but I didn't use a piping tip and I cut the hole too big, so that didn't turn out well that time. But, if you don't cut your hole too big, the piping bag technique is probably the easiest to do. Bake them in the oven for 8-10 minutes.Let them cool in the pans for 2-3 minutes, then try to take them out. You want to glaze them while they are still warm. I didn't have any powdered sugar so I couldn't make the recipe for the glaze. Instead, I took chocolate icing and watered it down using milk. Or, heat the icing up in the microwave. Dip the doughnuts in the glaze then add the sprinkles right away. I used the leftover sprinkles from my cupcake post. Enjoy these doughnuts!

Wow!!! They look amazing and the ingredients seem like it might be a a "healthier" donut than store bought. Can't wait to try!
