Happy St.Valentine's Day! Today I am going to make St. Valentine's Day cupcakes. I used Duncan Hines Marble Fudge cake mix. The box comes with two packets. One contains the packet of the fudge mixture and the other contains yellow cake mix. First, pour the yellow cake mix into a large bowl and add the wet ingredients listed on the back of the box. Then, pour a cup of yellow cake mix into a smaller bowl and add the packet of the fudge mixture. To make these cupcakes I used a Wilton Valentine's Day cupcake kit I found at Walmart. It is really strange, but I can't find it online anymore. Anyway, you will also need one pipping bag, red food coloring, hot pink sprinkles, Wilton decorating tip 1M, and a box of Wilton buttercream icing mix. I lined my cupcake pans using the cupcake liners provided in the kit. After I have lined the pans, I first poured the yellow batter into all of the cupcake liners.
